Disappointment!!!!

Disappointment, How do you teach your children to handle and accept disappointment, let me start off with telling you (the readers) why this is bothering me today, well today would have been our son calebs first Karate class at the ymca since we signed him up, well here where we live it was raining today but i thought i would be brave and venture out with all three kids alone (daddy is at school) that way caleb could join his first karate class, but little did we know they had cancelled! I had to call to verify the time and when i did they informed me that it was cancelled due to the weather but since this is our first class the instructor didn't have our info and couldn't call and inform us of the change, so I had to brake the news to caleb and the look on his face tore my heart into 100 billion, trillion pieces, We've been waiting in excitement all day just to be knocked down and disappointed, I know this may should like no big deal but my children don't really have any other family members other than mom dad and brothers that interact with him on a day to day bases not ever a month to month bases and he has been let down and heartbroken by some of his family, so to see him so let down by this karate class that mommy and daddy suggested he participate in, just brakes my heart! so when we got home I gave caleb a great big hug and told him they would have another class on friday and hopefully that one wont be cancelled! He was fine with it and i promised to watch a movie and have some popcorn together! so i headed to use the restroom, Well caleb had different plans for us, MARIO CART WII!!! His favorite game so we played a couple and mommy made some popcorn, Caleb and his brother enjoyed their snack and are peacefully laying down for bed now, so the day didn't end in a total bust! Hopefully friday wont fall threw!! fingers crossed :)
